Audi DQ500 TCM Cloning & Remanufactured Replacement | 3-Year Warranty

Replace a failed DQ500 transmission control module while retaining the vehicle-specific data from your original unit. LaCorte Automotive offers two mail-in options for select Audi seven-speed DSG mechatronic units: cloning to a compatible customer-supplied TCM or supplying a remanufactured replacement with data transfer.

TCM cloning: Send us your original TCM and a compatible replacement. We inspect both units and transfer the available vehicle-specific data to the replacement.

Remanufactured replacement: Send us your original unit. We supply a compatible remanufactured TCM, transfer the required data when the original is readable, and test the replacement before shipping. The remanufactured replacement includes a 3-year warranty.

Common reasons for replacement

• TCM communication or internal control-module faults

• Failed mechatronic electronics

• A damaged original unit that requires replacement

• A replacement unit that needs to be matched to the vehicle

Before ordering: Send us your VIN, transmission code, a complete fault-code scan, and clear photos of the original unit’s labels. For cloning, include photos of the replacement unit’s labels as well. DQ500 variants and hardware are not universally interchangeable; we will confirm compatibility and whether the original data can be recovered before accepting the job.

Fitment: Select Audi vehicles equipped with the DQ500 seven-speed DSG, including applicable 0BH, 0BT, and 0DL variants.

Installation note: Basic settings and an adaptation drive may be required after installation. Cloning or replacing the TCM will not repair hydraulic valve body, clutch, wiring, or internal transmission faults. If the original module cannot be read, we will discuss the available programming options before proceeding.
